Public Safety Bulletin – Shooting at Whataburger
Earlier this afternoon, at approximately 4:00 p.m., suspects in a dark-colored SUV, shot and
injured two individuals at the Whataburger located at 2401 W. Berry St.
The suspects fled Eastbound on W. Berry St. and TCUPD has been advised by FWPD, who is
investigating the shooting, that no TCU students, faculty or staff were involved, or present,
when the offense occurred. The incident occurred about a half mile from campus and there is
no risk to residents on campus or in the area, from this offense.
The intersection of W. Berry St. and Forest Park Blvd. is expected to be blocked off for the
investigation until approximately 8:00 p.m.
